First Sailing After Navigator Of The Seas Refurbishment Cancelled!

Royal Caribbean have announced that the first of the sailings on the newly amped Navigator Of The Seas is to be cancelled due to upgrades not being ready in time.

The Upgrades Coming To Navigator Of The Seas.
Navigator Of The Seas is currently undergoing significant upgrades in Freeport, Bahamas. These are part of the 'Royal Amplified' programme which see's her getting a refurbishment similar to that of Independence and Mariner of The Seas did last year. Navigator is due to get the 'longest waterslide at sea', suspended across the side of the ship this waterslide is like no other on a cruise ship.

Royal Caribbean say that 'progress on the upper decks has been significantly impacted due to poor weather conditions at the ship yard', and as so many of the upgrades are taking place on the upper decks, this has significantly affected the schedule.

The first cruise was due to sail from Miami on February 24th, but will now no longer take place. No other cruises are currently affected. The maiden voyage for Navigator Of The Seas will now be March 1st from Miami.

Everybody who is affected should have been contacted by Royal Caribbean, if you have been affected by this please get in touch!
