After the ships retirement Oriana will be making her way to an unnamed Chinese domestic shipping company - confirmed from the company's twitter account.

Oriana is being replaced by Iona, which is due to join the fleet in 2020. Iona is one of two (the other being unnamed) brand new ships that P&O have ordered - with the second being delivered in 2022. Thus leaving the question will P&O be retiring another one of their older vessels in the coming years to make way for the second new ship.

Oriana is set to have a special farewell celebration cruise - with more details to be announced soon.
