Princess Cruises have announced that they will have a total of three ships sailing from the UK in 2020, in addition to the naming of their newest flagship, Enchanted Princess.

A mock up of Enchanted Princess.

This is the first time that the company has ever had three ships which are sailing from the UK at once,  this is excluding the naming ceremony of the Enchanted Princess. The three ships which will be based in Southampton are the Crown Princess, Island Princess and Regal Princess, all offering different itineraries.

Crown Princess will spend a short amount of time in the Mediterranean before heading across to Southampton where she will remain from May until November. When she arrives she will begin sailing different itineraries including the following:

  • 8 Days To The Norwegian Fjords.
  • 13 Day Summer Holiday Cruises to the Med.
  • 17 Day 'Mediterranean Voyage'
  • 4 Day Sailings to Rotterdam and The Channel Islands.
Island Princess will be staying in Southampton for a slightly shorter amount of time, covering from June until October. The itineraries include the following:

  • 14 Day Scandinavia and Russia. (Stockholm and St. Petersburg are overnight visits.)
  • 2x 12 Day Northern Lights.
  • 16/32 Day Roundtrip or One Way Cruises to New York via Northern Europe.
Regal Princess will offer cruises which go around the British Isles from May through to September - which is actually the first time that the ship has ever spent a season operating from the UK.
