Second Quantum Ultra Class Ship Will Sail From Europe in 2020!

Royal Caribbean have announced that their second Quantum Ultra class ship will sail from Europe in its inaugural season, 2020. According to travel weekly, Royal Caribbean's CEO Michael Bayley confirmed that the second ship in the class will be sailing from Barcelona when it debuts in 2020.

It comes at the same time that Royal Caribbean will be home-porting Anthem Of The Seas (and Independence) out of Southampton for the first time since the ships inaugural season. This raises the question wether Royal Caribbean will bring a Quantum Ultra class ship to Southampton at any point in the feature, replacing (or joining) Anthem Of The Seas.

As of now we are unaware what other ships will be joining the second Quantum Ultra class ship, which is currently unnamed, out of its homeport in Barcelona. This is a space which has been previously filled by an Oasis class ship and maybe even a freedom/voyager class ship alongside. It will be interesting to see what Royal Caribbean do with the European market.
