The latest addition to the Royal Caribbean fleet will be named Odyssey Of The Seas, the line has announced today at the steel cutting ceremony of their latest Quantum Ultra class ship.

She will be the second of Royal Caribbean's 'Quantum Ultra' class of cruise ships, an upgraded version of the Quantum Class ships Quantum, Anthem and Ovation Of The Seas. The first of the Quantum Ultra class ships is Spectrum Of The Seas, which is due to begin sailing later this year in Asia.
Royal Caribbean announced just days ago that Odyssey Of The Seas is due to sail in Europe and America. We currently do not know much information about this, but we do know that she will be making a visit in Southampton before her transatlantic crossing, and that in the summer months she is likely to be based out of Barcelona. This will be in 2021, so it is currently unknown whether Anthem will also be operating out of Southampton - meaning that two Quantum Class ships would be operating simultaneously in Europe.
