Royal Caribbean have announced that they have ordered a sixth Oasis Class cruise ship from Chantiers de l'Atlantique in France.
The Oasis Class ship will be delivered to Royal Caribbean in 2023, as long as all the financing deals go through fine (this is all expected to be completed in either the second or third quarter of this year). Royal Caribbean say that this reflects the exceptional performance of the Oasis Class of cruise ships.
This is not the only Oasis Class cruise ship that Royal Caribbean currently has on order, their fifth ship is due to be delivered in 2021 after two Quantum Ultra class ships have been delivered, Spectrum and Odyssey Of The Seas.
We are currently unsure of any details such as what the name will be, where the ship will be based and any differences to the regular Oasis Class - however we expect these updates to come in due course (probably once Spectrum, Odyssey and the fifth Oasis class ship are completed).
