Freedom Of The Seas' Major Amplification Revealed!

Royal Caribbean have just announced details of a major amplification which is going to be taking place on Freedom Of The Seas in 2020, as part of the Royal Amplified fleet upgrade scheme - in which Royal Caribbean are taking most of their 'older' ships and brining them into line with the newest in the fleet.

The Reimagined Freedom Of The Seas

During the dry dock in 2020, the Freedom Of The Seas is going to be completely modernised, brining some of guests favourite experiences from ships like Independence Of The Seas, which received her upgrade back in 2018.

Some of the new features include:

  • The Perfect Storm Waterslides: First debuted a few years ago, 'The Perfect Storm' has already featured on multiple RC ships such as Mariner and Independence.

  • Completely Reimagined Pool Area: With Caribbean Vibes, a large variety of different seating options such as daybeds and hammocks and all new Splashaway Bay - there is bound to be something for everyone on the reimagined pool deck. A new poolside bar named "The Lime and Coconut" will also feature, bringing with it live music, cocktails and a 'rooftop deck'.
  • All New Dining Venues: Fan favourites and all new dining options will feature on the refurbished Freedom Of The Seas. These include Playmarkers, Izumi Hibachi and Sushi, El Loco Fresh and Giovanni's Italian Kitchen.
  • More FUN For All The Family: Glow in the Dark laser tag and a floor to ceiling redesign of dedicated kids spaces such as Adventure Ocean. Teens are recieving an exclusive hangout which will feature the latest movies, games and music AND a private outdoor deck!

The all new Freedom Of The Seas will begin to sail 7 night Roundtrip Sailings in the Southern Caribbean - home porting in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She will he the second Freedom Class ship to get refurbished, following her sister Independence Of The Seas, which received similar upgrades in 2018.
