P&O's Ventura cruise ship suffered engine propulsion problems whilst en-route to Lanzarote from Tenerife, last night.
P&O's first Grand Class cruise ship, Ventura, has suffered engine propulsion problems whilst travelling from Santa Cruz, Tenerife to Lanzarote. It happened last night, and passengers were informed via the TV Screens in their cabin that Ventura was drifting and they were awaiting tug assistance to pull them back to Tenerife.
P&O made it clear there was no concern for safety.

P&O Cruises ship Ventura returned to Tenerife last night, under the support of tugs, where the ship will stay alongside while the cause of reduced propulsion is investigated.
