The worlds largest cruise line, Carnival, has announced it will use more of it's ships to get its crew home all across the world.
They have announced that they will use five extra ships from the Carnival Cruise Line fleet to get their fleet home to countries all across the world. Firstly, they announced that Carnival Panorama would be taking Filipino and Indonesian crew home - on a special voyage that would take the cruise lines newest ship to Asia for the first time. The ship is not just taking its own crew, but also those from other ships in the Carnival fleet so that they can debark as many crew in their home countries as possible.
Carnival Panorama is due to set sail from the east coast of the USA today.
In addition to the aforementioned, Carnival have today announced that five more ships from the Carnival brand will be sailing crew members home to destinations across the world. According to the crusie page 'I like cruise ships' the following ships will be sailing to these destinations:
- Carnival Glory to Latin America, stopping in the Caribbean and Central America.
- Carnival Breeze will sail to North, Central & South Africa, Western Europe and Central Asia.
- Carnival Magic will sail to the Mediterranean and Eastern Europe stopping in as many ports as possible.
- Carnival Fantasy will sail to North and South America.
In addition to this Carnival Corporation are preparing ships from the brands of Princess Cruises, Holland America Line and Seabourn to also bring their crew home.
- Regal Princess will sail from the Caribbean to Southampton and Rotterdam.
- Crown Princess will sail from the Caribbean to the Philippines, Indonesia, India and South Africa.
- Island Princess will sail from the Caribbean to the Philippines, Indonesia, India and South Africa.
- Holland America's Veendam, Volendam and Nieuw Amsterdam will sail towards Asia dropping crew of in various areas from many of Holland America's ships.
- Seabourn Quest will sail to Europe.
