One of the first companies to originally announce a pause in operations for its ships, Princess Cruises, has today announced an extension of the 60 day pause initially planned.
Princess Cruises was one of the first companies to announce they would be temporarily halting their ships due to the spread of Covid-19, and they have today announced that their ships will now not be sailing until July 1st.

In addition to the extension of the pause in operations, Princess have also announced that they plan to modify their Alaska season - including cancelling all Princess Alaska Gulf Cruise and Cruisetours. They have also stated that they remain hopeful that Ruby and Emerald Princess will still be able to operate round trip Alaska cruises from Seattle later this year.
Princess also announced that they will have to cancel some voyages on Sun Princess which would have relied on the ship being deployed to the 2020 Olympics as a hotel for guests, as the Olympics has now been cancelled these voyages have also been pulled.
Lastly, it was announced that there would in fact be a delay to Princess' newest ship, Enchanted Princess, due to the impact of the virus in Italy - where the ship is being built. It is currently not known when the ship is expected to be completed.
