Royal Caribbean International have today announced that they have cancelled some more sailings from China and Europe due to ongoing travel restrictions and port closures. There are five ships affected across two different regions. The cancellations in China are the following:
  • Voyager Of The Seas sailings through September 2020.
  • Quantum Of The Seas sailings through July 12th 2020.
  • Spectrum Of The Seas sailings through July 12th 2020.
Two ships are affected by the cancellations in Europe, these changes have been made due to Denmark announcing that no non-essential travel should take place through August 31st 2020. The cancellations are the following:
  • Brilliance Of The Seas August 21st departure from Copenhagen.
  • Jewel Of The Seas August 8th & 22nd sailings from Copenhagen.
Additionally to these cancellations, Royal Caribbean have also announced some new itineraries for 2021 sailing from Australia, including the introduction of Quantum Of The Seas who will be sailing alongside sister ship Ovation Of The Seas.

It was recently announced that Quantum will be sailing alongside Ovation in Alaska during the summer months of 2021, the first time that two Quantum class ships have sailed there together, the two ships will then both head down to Australia after finishing their Alaska seasons.

In addition to this, Royal Caribbean announced yesterday that Allure Of The Seas will be sailing from Port Canaveral instead of Galveston in 2021. This is due to the delay of the new cruise terminal in Galveston. Read more here.
